I remember about 4 years ago I wanted to work at this one club, and I was willing to do whatever it took to get on stage there. One time I handed out flyers on a windy day just for a chance at stage time. I had like 50 flyers in my hand and they all dropped to the ground, then the wind started up again and I literally had to run after these papers blowing in the breeze.
A woman saw me, laughed and said "oh you poor boy what is this a flyer for?"
I told her "a comedy show at Nicks Comedy Stop"
She looked at me with pity and said "You know what? I'll come to the show, just because you're working so hard"
I haven't seen her since.
But now its all good because FINALLY I GET TO HOST THERE.
YEAAAA. This weekend I get to host for Corey Rodrigues and Brian Golwacki! It'll be a great time, I promise.
